Ariel

In memoriam:  12/1/1990 - 4/22/2004

Ariel was a rescue Keeshond who came to live with Urban and me  in July of 2000.  She was a picked up in San Diego county. At that time the people she had lived with up until she was 10 left her at a grooming shop as they moved out of town. 

She took to Urban immediately becoming "his" dog (although it was more like he became "her" human.)  She was a very  quiet girl who never barked and was extremely sweet and loving.  She knew that she was the #3 dog in the pack pecking order (after Lucy and Josh) but that didn't bother her. She was happy being with people that loved her.

On Thursday, April 22, Ariel let Urban know that the effects of cancer and muscle paralysis were too much for her to handle anymore and that it was time to go.

We miss Ariel much and know, despite how much it hurts, that she is in a better place.
